Day 3 Walking Diaries: How the weather can inspire 2025
OK so here in the UK the temperature has absolutely PLUMMETED!!
It is proper cold with lots of weather warnings all over the country.
No matter where you are let’s approach the weather like we’re going to approach this year.
Freezing? Then we put our layers on, we wrap up warm, we LEAN IN my friends.
Sometimes we’re going to want to hibernate of course and that’s sometimes fully necessary and encouraged. Curl up next to a fire, blankets, books, hot drinks, nourish, nurture.
AND…
I don’t know about you but I always enjoy the hibernation bit so much more when I’ve got my dopamine, my serotonin, my endorphins and my oxytocin…and I can’t get all of those from hibernation alone.
I need to move through whatever is happening in my life - physically and mentally we need to keep moving or we feel so stuck, right?
Hands up who has felt stuck through infertility?
ME!
So let’s do what we can to keep some flow, keep our energy moving, keep your minds moving, keep believing in the fresh possibilities of the year ahead.
ANYTHING is possible this year.

And remember, if the weather (or life!) is feeling cold, biting your cheeks, challenging, making you want to retreat, isolate yourself and trying it’s best to drag you down: that’s when you add more warmth physically and metaphorically (like connecting with others, connecting with nature, connecting with all the potential of the year, connection with your inner spark and flame…).
I’ve got you. We’ve got you. Together we can do this.
